Aahar 2021 dwells upon how the Indian food and hospitality industry has carefully opted for contactless dining

The 36th edition of the International of Food & Hospitality Fair – AAHAR 2021 will be a mega attraction for expert Chefs who persistently strive to make emerging India a food basket for the world. Promoting ‘the Taste of India’ globally, these masterful chefs are marrying old farming practices to biodiversity and modern techniques.

The event will be taking place from 6th to 10th April in New Delhi.

Significantly, in view to support the industry, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) has offered a discount of 45 per cent on space rent against the rates of previous edition of the fair.

The fair is being organized with the support of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, APEDA along with co-associates such as AIFPA, ARCHII, HOTERMAI, FHSAI and FIFHI for the fair. Besides, the fair enjoys the active support of the Federation of All India Caterers, Forum of India Food Importers (FIFI), Food Industries Welfare Association (FIWA), KREMAG and India Confectionary Manufacturer Association (ICMA).

This annual B2B event of ITPO will be organized with compliance of the health and safety guidelines of specified by the Government in newly build halls (nos. 2,3,4 & 5, ground and the first floor) of International Exhibition–cum-Convention Centre (IECC), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

According to Rajesh Agrawal, IAS, Executive Director, ITPO, “This year, apart from its diverse aspects, Aahar 2021 has been planned judiciously to support the industry, there is a special focus to empower the catering professionals in terms of meaningful display.”

The fair offers an insight of techniques and equipment which are used in specialties of international cuisines. There will be a wide range of products for professional chefs as well as catering experts celebrating local as well as seasonal flavor, championing indigenous grain and greens, while ensuring consumer interest by cooling them with heritage recipes and plating these dishes to match the gastronomic trends of the dry and still keep their offerings sought and delicious.
