Inside BENEO’s new pulse plant: pioneering sustainable protein from faba beans
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana has entered into an agreement with Chakra Seeds Kurnool (AP) and Friends Agro Industry, Malerkotla for commercialisation of PMH-1 (Maize hybrid) and PAU Super SMS Technology, respectively.
The agreement was signed by M Ganesh Kumar Reddy and Nirbhai Singh for their respective firms while Dr Navtej Singh Bains, Director Research, PAU, signed the pact on behalf of the university. Dr Ashok Kumar, Additional Director of Research and TS Dhillon, Director Seeds, PAU, was also present.
PAU has signed 141 agreements and commercialised 38 technologies including hybrid lines of mustard, chilli, brinjal, bio-fertilisers, leaf colour chart, water testing kit, PAU, Happy Seeder technology and many others.
