ITC, one of India’s foremost private sector companies with a market capitalisation of US $ 50 billion and Gross Sales Value* of US $ 10 billion has released ITC Report & Accounts 2018. This year’s focus was ITC: Creating Enduring Value for India through World-class Indian Brands.
This year ITC reported gross sales value of INR 67082 crore for the year ended 31st March 2018.
ITC’s FMCG products reach every second household in India. This year, ITC’s Bingo! has achieved market leadership on an All-India basis in the Bridges segment driven by a robust portfolio of products under the Tedhe Medhe, Mad Angles and Tangles sub-brands and its annual consumer spend reached over INR 2000 crores.
ITC’s vibrant and successful food brands such as Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, Bingo!, YiPPee and B Natural amongst others, enable strong forward linkages for domestic agri-value chains, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and making a meaningful contribution to boost farmer earnings.
ITC’s vibrant portfolio of brands represents annual consumers spend of nearly INR 16,000 crores in aggregate. These brands have been built organically over a relatively short period of time. ITC’s aspiration to be an exemplar in sustainability practices is manifest in its status as the only company in the world, of its size and diversity, to be ’carbon positive’, ’water positive’ and ’solid waste recycling positive’. In addition, ITC’s businesses have created sustainable livelihoods for more than 6 million people, a majority of whom represent the poorest in rural India.
