Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali has recently launched a new range of dairy products namely cow milk, paneer, curd, butter milk. In addition, the company has also launched frozen vegetables, mixed vegetables, potato finger chips and packaged mineral water.

The company is already selling whole milk powder and clarified butter. Patanjali is now planning to take on the market leader Amul and other established brands by selling milk cheaper by Rs. 2.

As stated by Patanjali, the company produced 4 lakh litres of cow milk on the first day of its operation itself. Patanjali will shortly start selling milk in tetra packs and have future plans to sell flavoured milk as well.

The company would encourage products from India-based breeds and the products are said to be launched in the states of Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Haryana in the first phase.
