Amul assures enough supply of milk and dairy products

There is sufficient stock to meet the demand

Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF) which markets its dairy stuff under Amul brand has recently announced that there is no shortage of milk and other dairy products and has asked people to refrain from panic buying amid coronavirus scare.

R S Sodhi, MD, GCMMF said that there have been reports of panic buying of milk and other dairy products because of coronavirus.

He assured people that there will be no shortage of dairy products and said, “Milk is essential commodity and there is no restriction on people involved in procurement, processing and distribution of milk.”

There is sufficient stock to meet the demand.
