Pune based Alsaco has recently announced India’s first and only patented ayurvedic anti-viral medicine, Ganjhu Vir. From the common cold to COVID-19, Ganjhu Vir has been proven efficacious in multiple viral infections.

Ganjhu Vir is India’s first patented indigenous anti-viral medicine developed by a single plant source. The medicine not only enhances body immunity but also directly controls the viral body making it an effective medicine against virus infections across the spectrum. After passing a successful test at NIMHANS, Bangalore and Haffkine institute Mumbai, it has been approved by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, New Delhi.

The inventor of this medicine, Dr Rajesh Kumar Ganjhu has been working for this medicine since 2003 with all his conviction and healing powers of medicinal plants and herbs. He obtained his patent for a broad-spectrum antiviral medicine and collaborated with ICMR for advanced trials to obtain a patent jointly with ICMR for rabies and encephalitis.

Successful clinical trials were conducted on dengue and COVID-19 patients as well, and this medicine has emerged as an effective treatment for these viruses. The medicine will soon be available in tablets and syrup form.
