Merck Life Science enters into MoU with ICAR-CIFT Kochi

This collaboration between Merck & ICAR-CIFT would help accelerate scientific projects, methods of development, and workflow development mutually, enabling scientific demonstrations and training in Food Safety

Merck Life Science Private Limited announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) Kochi, the only national centre in India dedicated to conducting research across all areas related to fishing and fish processing. This collaboration between Merck & ICAR-CIFT would help accelerate scientific projects, methods of development, and workflow development mutually, enabling scientific demonstrations and training in Food Safety.

The MoU was signed by Dr Veena P Panicker, Director BioMonitoring, Merck Life Science, and Dr George Ninan, Director  Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) in the presence of dignitaries such as Dr C.O. Mohan, Principal Investigator, ICAR-CIFT,  Dr Zynudheen A.A. Principal Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr Pankaj Kishore, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr Niladri Sekhar Chatterjee, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIFT,  Dr Ranjit Kumar Nadella, Scientist, ICAR-CIFT. Besides, a few other members were present to witness the MoU signing ceremony between Merck Life Science and the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) at Kochi.
