Yakult announces the launch of its revamped product Yakult Plus Peach, with a delightful peach flavour, that will replace the current Yakult Plus. It adds a new taste experience to Yakult’s range of fermented milk drinks in Europe including Yakult Original – the iconic drink that started it all – and Yakult Balance. Yakult Plus Peach, recognisable by its orange cap and bottle, will be available in stores throughout Europe as of the end of August this year.
Each small bottle of Yakult contains billions of the L. casei Shirota bacteria, a unique strain of bacteria that has been scientifically proven to reach the intestines alive and help increase the number of good bacteria in the gut.
Yakult Plus Peach is also rich in vitamin C to support the immune system and contains dietary fibre that feeds the good bacteria in the gut. The new Plus Peach variety contains 70 per cent less sugar and 33 per cent fewer calories compared to Yakult Original.
