Turkish Dried Fruits make entry into India

This launch introduces Indian consumers to premium Turkish dried fruits such as figs, apricots, sultanas, and pistachios

Turkish Dried Fruits, renowned for their superior quality, rich taste, and extensive health benefits, have been officially launched in India through a dedicated campaign by the Turkish Dried Fruits Sectoral Board (TDFSB). The grand unveiling took place at MEWA India 2025 trade show in Mumbai, in collaboration with the Nuts and Dry Fruits Council of India (NDFCI), in the esteemed presence of His Excellency Mustafa Kemalettin Eruygur, Consul General of Turkiye, Osman Öz, Chairman of the Turkish Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association Sector Board, and Gunjan Jain, President of the Nuts and Dry Fruits Council of India (NDFCI), along with other distinguished guests.

Türkiye, a global leader in dried fruit production, leverages its rich agricultural heritage and sustainable farming to supply high-quality products to over 150 countries worldwide. This launch introduces Indian consumers to premium Turkish dried fruits such as figs, apricots, sultanas, and pistachios; ideal for snacking, cooking, and garnishing, enhancing both flavour and nutrition in various dishes. 

During the launch, Osman Öz, Chairman of the Turkish Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association Sector Board, expressed, “We are excited to introduce the Turkish Dried Fruits India Campaign, an initiative focused on bringing the premium quality, rich taste, and health benefits of Turkish dried fruits to Indian consumers. With Turkiye’s expertise in sustainable agriculture, our dried figs, apricots, sultanas, and pistachios offer a nutritious and delicious addition to India’s diverse food choices. This campaign is about providing Indian consumers with natural, high-quality options that enhance their everyday nutrition and culinary experiences.
