Botanic Healthcare invests $3Mn in Himachal Pradesh

With an annual processing capacity of 6,000 tonnes of raw material, the plant boosts production capacity by 50 per cent

Botanic Healthcare, a global leader in developing and manufacturing nutraceutical ingredients, has inaugurated its sixth manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh with an investment of over $3 million. This strategic expansion will enhance production capabilities and create over 200 direct and indirect job opportunities in the region, further reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

With an annual processing capacity of 6,000 tonnes of raw material, the plant boosts production capacity by 50 per cent. It focuses on producing region-specific herbal ingredients and incorporates advanced real-time monitoring systems for consistent product quality. Sustainability is emphasised through renewable energy solutions and waste management practices, reinforcing eco-friendly operations.

The new facility was chosen for its rich biodiversity, providing access to medicinal plants essential for nutraceutical production. State incentives, including tax benefits and subsidies, made it an attractive investment destination. Its strategic location further supports efficient distribution to both domestic and international markets.

“This new facility is a milestone as we continue to expand globally,” said Gaurav Soni, Founder and MD, Botanic Healthcare. “Aligned with the recent budget’s vision for a healthier India, we remain committed to supporting society’s nutritional needs through science-backed, sustainable solutions. With growing awareness around nutrition, this facility will help us deliver superior products while driving local economic development.”
