Huhtamaki India Limited has appointed Himanshu Desai as the Head of Operations, effective April 1, 2025, according to the BSE filing

Himanshu Desai is an experienced operations leader with over 30 years in the packaging industry across various regions. He has a strong track record of building high-performing teams and meeting key operational KPIs within the Flexible Packaging segment. With more than 14 years of experience leading manufacturing operations at Huhtamaki’s flexible packaging facility in the UAE, Himanshu managed three manufacturing sites and was instrumental in advancing Safety and World-Class Operations (WCO) initiatives. Most recently, he served as the General Manager of Operations at Huhtamaki Vietnam. His career with the company also includes a prior tenure from 1991 to 1999.

Himanshu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Printing and Graphic Communication from Pune University and a Diploma in Printing and Graphics from the Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology.
