Shreeja Milk Producer Organisation, Mother Dairy to set up processing units in Kuppam, AP

Both companies have been allocated land in Kuppam, with project completion targeted within 15 to 18 months

Tirupati-based Shreeja Milk Producer Organisation with Mother Dairy will set up new processing units in Kuppam. These projects are expected to generate around 8,000 jobs and boost the rural economy in the area. This was announced by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

During a meeting with representatives from both organisations, Naidu reviewed plans for a dairy and animal feed processing unit by Shreeja Milk and a fruit pulp processing unit by Mother Dairy. Both companies have been allocated land in Kuppam, with project completion targeted within 15 to 18 months.

The investments will strengthen the rural economy by sourcing milk and horticultural products directly from local farmers, thereby increasing their incomes. These initiatives align with the Chief Minister’s Swarna Andhra vision and the goal of achieving Zero Poverty by empowering farmers and fostering sustainable livelihoods.

This announcement follows a broader agreement with the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) focussed on inclusive development and industrial growth in the region.
