Key aspects such as quality mark requirements, food safety and hygiene, modernisation of milk procurement systems were discussed
National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) recently organised a three-day training programme on Clean Milk Production (CMP) and Milk Quality Management at the Village Level under Component B of the National Programme for Dairy Development (DTC–JICA) at Anand. Participants from Kosi, Shahabad, Vikramshila and Tirhut Milk Unions attended the programme aimed at strengthening their knowledge on improving milk quality and adopting scientific practices at the village level.
The sessions covered the Anand Pattern of Dairy Cooperatives, CMP management practices, and the regulatory framework under FSSAI INDIA – Food Safety License Registration Consultants in India to ensure safe, high-quality milk. Key aspects such as quality mark requirements, food safety and hygiene, modernisation of milk procurement systems, and product and process development were also discussed, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of quality management across dairy operations.
During the training, participants had the opportunity to visit NDDB CALF LIMITED to gain first-hand exposure to quality standards and testing methods for milk and milk products. They also visited Panchmahal Milk Union, where they interacted with officials and gained practical insights.
