NDDB, OMFED in MoU to upgrade training centre in Bhubaneswar

The centre will be strengthened as a modern dairy training institution, advancing skills, productivity and milk quality in line with the vision of White Revolution 2.0

National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (OMFED) signed an MoU to collaborate on the management, operation and upgradation of the OMFED Training Centre in Bhubaneswar. The agreement was signed by Dr Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NDDB and Vijay Amruta Kulange, Director, AH&VS, Odisha & MD, OMFED.

With NDDB’s support in plant development and capacity building, the centre will be strengthened as a modern dairy training institution, advancing skills, productivity and milk quality in line with the vision of White Revolution 2.0.

Further strengthening dairy infrastructure in the region, the Tangi Milk Plant was also virtually inaugurated, developed with technical consulting support from NDDB to enhance milk processing capacity and support dairy farmers in the region.
