DRRK Foods to invest Rs 20Cr in rice packing facility

With a daily packing capacity of 350 metric tonnes, the facility is slated to become operational by February 2025

DRRK Foods, the manufacturer and marketer of Crown Basmati Rice, is set to invest Rs 20 crores to establish a state-of-the-art rice packing facility near Mundra Port. Spanning 17 acres, this new unit is expected to boost the company’s capacity to meet the growing global demand for high-quality rice exports. With a daily packing capacity of 350 metric tonnes, the facility is slated to become operational by February 2025.

The strategic location near Mundra Port will streamline logistics for DRRK Foods, enabling the company to serve international markets efficiently. This development marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion, reinforcing its commitment to delivering premium quality rice with improved efficiency.

In addition to the Mundra facility, DRRK Foods is planning another unit with a daily capacity of 600 metric tons for paddy processing, to be located in either Haryana or Madhya Pradesh. This unit, with an investment of Rs 60-70 crores, will further enhance the company’s production capabilities for both domestic and international markets.
