Nestlé India re-appoints Dr Swati Piramal as Director

At the 54th AGM of Nestlé India held on May 9 in Delhi, the shareholders re-elected Dr Swati A Piramal as non-executive Director of the company. Dr Piramal has been on the Board since August 2010 and is a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Directors. She has a distinguished profile and has made immense contribution in the areas of health, education and supporting women in leadership roles. She has received numerous national and international awards, and most recently she was conferred the Padma Shri for her exceptional and distinguished contribution in the field of trade and industry. 

At the meeting, shareholders also approved the appointment of Aristides Protonotarios as a wholetime-Director designated as “Director – Technical” of the company. Protonotarios joined Nestlé Group in 1991 and has extensive experience in technical and manufacturing within the Nestlé Group.
