Sanjay Dave takes responsibility of director (enforcement) at FSSAI

Sanjay Dave, advisor to the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), an apex food regulator, who is also the chairman of Codex Alimentarius Commission, international food standards body has been given additional responsibility of director (enforcement) at FSSAI. The post of director (enforcement/surveillance) was held by Col. C R Dalal, an Army officer serving at FSSAI on deputation. Vinod Kotwal will continue to handle Codex/FA/Establishment as director. According to reports, Dr Sandhya Kabra, will be handling QA/PA/Legal division as director while Bimal Kumar Dubey will be the director for food imports.
