Prof K V Thomas, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution who is leading the Indian delegation to the 40th Food and Agriculture Organisation (UN) Conference on World Food Security at Rome recently called on the Pope Francis at Vatican City and submitted a booklet on Food Security Act.
Pope congratulated Prof Thomas and the Government of India for the great initiative to eradicate hunger from India.
