Centre ensures adequate arrangements for paddy procurement in Punjab
Parag Milk Foods Limited, one of the leading manufacturers and marketers of dairy-based branded foods in India, has tied up with Germany’s cheese maker Hochland top bring their champion product Almette fresh cream into India. This is the first time that the brand will be available in India and will be co branded as Go–Almette.
‘Go Almette’ is a cream cheese produced in Germany made with pasteurized cow’s milk and is all natural with no preservatives, emulsifiers, thickeners, artificial colours or flavours. Go Almette cream cheese is light, natural and fluffy, providing consumers an option to use it as an all-day snack, either as direct consumption applied on breads, crackers or even roti / paratha! Thus, making Go Almette a good ingredient for the Indian palate. Go Almette is mild, creamy and fluffy cream cheese, making it an option even for health conscious consumers.
Speaking on this strategic alliance, Mr. Devendra Shah, Chairman, Parag Milk Foods Limited said, “With the launch of Go Almette in the country, we are broadening our portfolio of consumer health and nutrition based products. With this co-branding, we are also embarking upon a new relationship with Hochland Group. Currently we have launched two variants of Go Almette, Original and Fine Herbs in the market and we shall soon be launching other variants as well to enhance the consumer taste buds. In the near future, we will be expanding our product portfolio with an increased focus on health and nutrition products to suit the Indian palate.”
Under this co-branding arrangement, ‘Go Almette’ is currently being produced by Hochland in Germany and Parag will be importing and marketing it. The product will be available in tub, which resembles wooden keg, used originally to make cheese. ‘Go Almette’ is available in two flavours viz. Original & Fine Herbs in
150 gms packaging. The product is competitively priced at Rs.150 per unit.

Initially, we shall be launching this product in selected major metro markets of the country starting with Mumbai. Subsequently, we will be expanding our reach to the other tier 2 cities as well.”
