Jubilant FoodWorks that operates Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts chains across India said its President and CFO Sachin Sharma has resigned.
“Sachin Sharma, President and CFO and key managerial personnel of the company has resigned from the services of the company. His last working day will be July 21, 2017,” Jubilant FoodWorks said in a BSE filing.
“The board will appoint his successor in due course,” it added.
In September last year, Sharma was appointed as the chief financial officer (CFO) and key managerial personnel.
According to the news reported by Business Standard, Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd posted a 25.5 per cent increase in net profit in the quarter ended June 30 to ₹23.84 crore. The company had posted a net profit of ₹ 19 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. The company said that net profit also reflected adverse impact on account of restaurants closure.
Total Income grew by 11.4 per cent to ₹ 681.82 crore. “This was driven by a robust same store sales growth of 6.5 per cent in Domino’s Pizza, the highest since first quarter of financia year 2016,” the company said in a statement.
