CSIR-CFTRI will be celebrating 75 years of its parent body, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, and CFTRI Foundation Day today.
The Foundation Day lecture will be delivered by Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Director, DFRL, Mysuru, and Jitendra J. Jadhav, Director, CSIR-CFTRI will also be present.
Employees who retired in the last one year, and those who have completed 25 years of service will be felicitated.
On this occasion, CSIR-CFTRI will sign an MoU with Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Under the MoU, a series of collaborative activities such as developing innovative nutritional adjuncts as supplements under Mid-day Meal (MDM) Scheme, internship programmes, customised training for MDM workers, and enabling a policy framework for implementing robust malnutrition interventions by Central and State governments will be addressed.
