The India NZ Business Council (INZBC) has signed an MoU with the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) to promote products and services from the food & beverage industry in both New Zealand and India.
The MoU was signed during the New Zealand delegation visit to the Indus Food Expo, in Greater Noida, India.
The Indus Food Expo is a hub for the F&B Industry to maximise their business opportunities. Supported by Department of Commerce, Government of India, Indus Food is a Mega Food & Beverage industry trade show for the world, where delegates can meet 500 most prominent sellers from the food & beverage sector of India.
The expo was organised by the TPCI. The Council provides strategies for expanding business internationally, by organizing specialised business events and simultaneously working with the Government by providing policy suggestions, which are essentially based on inputs, collated from research and industry stakeholders.
From an export point of view, more than 50 other countries showed a lot of interest in organic NZ products such as dairy and Manuka Honey. This MoU would enable closer working relationship between India and NZ businesses.
