Inside BENEO’s new pulse plant: pioneering sustainable protein from faba beans
Central Horticultural Experiment Station (ICAR -IIHR), Chettalli, Coorg, Karnataka participated in the Exhibition organized during the occasion of National Seminar on Edible Wild Fruits of Western Ghats: Conservation and Utilization – 2018.
It is organized by College of Forestry, Ponnampet from March 2-3, 2018 at Ponnampet, Coorg. The seminar and exhibition was inaugurated by Dr.M.R.Dinesh,Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR),Bangalore in the presence of Dr.S.B.Dandin, Ex.Vice Chancellor, University of Horticultural Sciences (UHS), Bagalkot and Dr.C.G.Kushalappa, Dean (Forestry), College of Forestry, Ponnampet, Coorg.
During the exhibition, selected technologies of ICAR-IIHR-CHES were displayed and fresh samples of Coorg Mandarin, Future fruit crops, Vegetables (IIHR vegetable varieties and Exotic vegetables), Bio fertilizers and Seed kits were also displayed.
The distinguished dignitaries, delegates, farmers and students visited the CHES stall and discussed about scope and potential of future fruit crops and exotic vegetable cultivation in this region.
More than five hundred farmers, students and entrepreneurs visited the stall and showed interest in various technologies of the Station.
The participation of CHES (ICAR-IIHR), Chettalli in the exhibition was Co-ordinated by Dr.I.N.Dorayappa Gowda, Principal Scientist and Head (i/c), Dr.V.Sankar, Principal Scientist and Mr.A.M.Jagadish, T3 of CHES, ICAR-IIHR, Chettalli, Coorg, Karnataka.
