ANF creates plant-based tuna alternative

US based Atlantic Natural Foods (ANF) has created a plant-based tuna alternative called Tuno, which is made with a range of plant-based ingredients.

 

Tuno has been created in collaboration with seafood industry experts to help address the growing crisis of global fish stocks being overfished and depleted, offering a more sustainable alternative which retains the same taste and texture of conventional canned tuna.

 

ANF began developing Tuno five years ago, and the range will initially be available in three varieties: Spring Water with Sea Salt, Lemon Pepper, and Spicy Sriracha, all of which will be packaged in 5-oz cans.
