PAU has inked pact with Indore based Sanjivani Bio Genetics

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has developed for the first time a new variety of seedless cucumber ‘Punjab Kheera 1’ which is suitable for poly-net house cultivation. Its fruits are dark green, seedless, bitter free, medium sized and do not require peeling.

PAU has inked pact with Indore based Sanjivani Bio Genetics for the licensing of Punjab Kheera 1. Dr Navtej Singh Bains, Director of Research, PAU, and Nitesh Jain, Proprietor, Sanjivani Bio Genetics signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

Dr. S.S. Chahal, Adjunct Professor, Technology Marketing and IPR Cell has informed that PAU has signed 210 MoAs and commercialized 50 technologies so far.
