To be held during December 14-16, 2019

The 7th Bioprocessing India Conference is scheduled to be held at CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) during December 14-16, 2019. It would provide an ideal platform for bringing together the interdiscplinary global network of experts, young researchers,  and industry representatives to discuss and exchange ideas on advances, and new trends in research in bioprocessing.

Bioprocessing combines biotechnology and engineering for the manufacturing of materials from bioresources. These will also include fundamental biomolecular research on proteins, enzymes and microbes, biosensors, bioseparations and bioreactors.

Applications include food processing and preservation; nutraceutical and plant biotechnology, wealth from waste, computationl biology and syntehtic biology. The coming together of scientific consortia can help in finding solutions to bioprocessing needs of agri-food resources, so critical for overall food security, health and welness.

This conference proposes to provide  an open forum to the bioporessing research community to explore and  understand this intricate relationship of bioprocessing with agri-food resources.

The theme of this year’s conference is Advances in bioprocessing of agri-food resources”. It will focus on advances in bioprocessing technologies from synthetic biology to downstream processing to scale up and continuous processing with emphasis across different verticals in the agri, food and bioresources.

The conference will have plenary lectures, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, webinars and panel discussions. A CEO conclave has also been planned for an effective industry and academia interaction.
