Over 2000 participants including SHGs , 150 co-operatives, 35 countries including US, Australia & Bangladesh are participating

Highlighting a huge potential of cooperative bodies in export and  enhancing farmers income, the  maiden edition of India International Cooperative Trade Fair (IICTF) is being organized jointly by National Cooperatives Development Cooperation (NCDC), APEDA, NAFED and ITPO from October 11 to 13, 2019.

IICTF promises to be India’s first and the largest international cooperative trade event aiming to promote cooperative-to-cooperative trade with India & abroad, thereby leading to rural and farmer prosperity.

Inspired by vision of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi for the  doubling  farmers  income  by 2022,  the  event  offers an incite of new  avenues  for cooperatives to understand about branding and marketing as per the global standard. India’s co-operative sector comprises of almost 94 per cent of Indian farmers who are members of at least one co-operative institution. Therefore, the cooperative sector   has a tremendous role in increasing agriculture exports from the current USD 30 billion to USD 60 billion by 2022 as envisaged in the agriculture export policy.

Participation profile in IICTF covers over 2000 participants, around 150 co-operatives and overseas exhibitors from 35 countries, including US, Australia and Bangladesh.

Aiming to promote cooperative trade both, domestic and international, the display profile of IICTF 2019 will cover on a wide range of products  and  services including agriculture and allied sectors, complete value chains, cold chains, exports, technology, climate smart agriculture, inputs, commodities, processing, packaging, storage,  machinery,  brand   promotion, marketing, coop-banking, big data analytics, cyber-security, agri-tech, livestock, dairy, fisheries, handloom, handicrafts, textiles, consumer goods, retail, hospitality, insurance, finance, credit, healthcare, products by women groups and  capacity development.

The States of Telangana, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Puducherry and Goa are taking part as the ‘State Partner’ while, IFFCO, IPL and Amul are the “Prime Partners” of the event. LIMAC, NSUI, FAO, NAFCUV, NCCD and Yes Bank are the “Knowledge Partners”.

This three – day event will be supplemented with thematic business conferences, B2B co-operative to co-operative meetings, technology seminars, cuisines and cultural programmes. Focus sectors and themes in the fair will include trade and marketing, credit services and finance FMCG, Health & Hospitality, Agri-business and Food Processing, Textiles, Technology and Capacity Building.
