Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oils are made from virgin coconut oil
US based Nutiva®, pioneer of plant-based organic foods that nurture vitality, has launched two new Organic Liquid Coconut Oils, in Classic and Garlic. Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oils are perfect replacements for traditional cooking oils like olive or canola, and ideal for sautéing, cooking and baking up to 350°F.
These innovative USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified liquid oils are extracted from fresh organic coconuts, and crafted through a patented organic process that gently removes the fats in virgin coconut oil that remain solid at room temperature.
Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oils are made from virgin coconut oil, while many non-organic liquid coconut oils are derived from highly processed refined coconut oil. The new products are also vegan, non-hydrogenated and contain 0g of trans fats.
Like all other Nutiva products, new Organic Liquid Coconut Oils help support small organic farming communities by donating one percent of sales to programs that support sustainable agriculture and healthy communities. Nutiva has donated more than $4 million to date. The company has also provided 100,000 coconut seedlings to organic coconut farmers in the Philippines, and supports programs that give farmers access to sustainable agriculture training, an early warning system for typhoons, and warns of pest outbreaks.
