Nestlé will increase investment in its confectionery business
Nestlé has announced a series of new investment measures aimed at further strengthening its layout in China, while further enriching its product portfolio through technological innovation and high-end product development. The overall scale of the capital increase exceeded CHF 100 million (approximately RMB 730 million), including the expansion of the existing pet food factory in Tianjin and the introduction of new high value-added products based on the company’s strong growth in pet food.
In addition, it established its first plant-based product production line in Asia in Tianjin.
Nestlé will increase investment in its confectionery business, upgrade its “true” wafer production line, and further develop the capabilities of Tianjin Nestlé Quality Assurance Center.
