Magic Moments Vodka launches limited edition celebration pack
As an organization we have done exceptionally well in 2020.
Our performance reflects the amazing effort of our 75,000 colleagues across the globe, who continued to meet our customers’ needs and quickly mobilized to provide solutions to help analyze, diagnose, and protect people from the virus globally.
Furthermore, last year we inaugurated the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) – Thermo Fisher Scientific Food Safety Solution Center in Ghaziabad, Delhi.
As the food safety standards and regulatory frameworks continue to evolve, this center, with its best-inclass chromatography and mass spectrometry solutions, support and training services, is a demonstration of our commitment to support manufacturers and government to address the analytical needs of the food and beverage industries. Overall, our performance in the past and with our comprehensive and advanced solutions from sample preparation, analysis and data management, we are well-positioned to enable safe and secure food supplies and ensure food manufacturers are compliant to the national and international guidelines.
The food industry has the primary responsibility to ensure the foods they produce are safe for consumers. With concerns around transmission of SARS-CoV-2 through food products, it has further escalated the need to redouble their food safety efforts. Another important aspect is the rising concern among manufacturers, regulators, and consumers on the protection against food fraud.
Food fraud costs the food industry approximately $15 billion globally. The launch of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Food Authenticity Workflow – for verifying and authenticating products for improved traceability and food safety has been pivotal in revolutionizing the food authenticity testing.
