ICAR inks MoU to study health benefits of cashew-based products

As per the MoU, the ICAR-DCR and NITTE have agreed to share the research facilities and infrastructure

The ICAR-Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur, Karnataka recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the K.S. Hegde Medical Academy under NITTE (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. 

The research collaboration shall help in unveiling the health benefits of cashew-based value-added products.

Dr. Anitha Karun, Director, ICAR-DCR, Puttur, Karnataka and Prof. Dr. Alka Kulkarni, Registrar, NITTE (Deemed to be University) signed the Memorandum on behalf of their respective organizations.

As per the MoU, the ICAR-DCR and NITTE have agreed to share the research facilities and infrastructure and to carry out the specific research activities at the laboratories of DCR, Puttur and K.S. Hegde Medical Academy respectively.
