Dodla Dairy shares gain 19% post acquisition

Hyderabad-based Dodla Dairy has announced the acquisition of Sri Krishna Milks Private Ltd, a company based in Hubballi, Karnataka, for Rs 50 crore. 

According to Dodla Dairy, it has acquired Sri Krishna Milks for the expansion of the company’s business and the consideration will be in cash. The acquisition will be completed around two month from the date of agreement.

Currently, Dodla Dairy’s procurement is centered in 5 states and its products are available for purchase in 11 states. The company has 94 milk chilling centres. Some of its plants are ISO 22000:2005 certified while two are ISO 50001:2011 (EnMS) certified.

The product portfolio consists of Milk, Butter Milk, Ghee, Curd, Paneer, Flavoured Milk, Doodh Peda, Ice Cream and Sweets.
