SEA reappoints Ajay Jhunjhunwala as president

Sanjeev K Asthana and Angshu Mallick have been elected as vice presidents of SEA, while Atul Chaturvedi has been elected as the special advisor

Ajay Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director of JR Agro Industries Pvt Ltd, has been re-elected as the president of the Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA) for 2023-24. JR Agro Industries is involved in rice bran processing, production of rice bran oil, vegetable oil refining, and manufacturing of cattle feed.

Sanjeev K Asthana and Angshu Mallick have been elected as vice presidents of SEA, while Atul Chaturvedi has been elected as the special advisor.

Sunil Mundra has been elected as secretary and V Neethi Mohan as treasurer. Prabhod S Halde, head of technical regulatory affairs at Marico Ltd, Mumbai has been elected as the joint secretary. SEA is the largest association of vegetable oil in India with 700 members and works with industry players, government agencies, and global organizations to promote the growth and development of the vegetable oil trade and industry
