SLMG Beverages, a bottling partner of Coca-Cola in India, has recently inaugurated a new factory in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The company has plans to invest Rs. 700 crores in this facility. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Smriti Irani.

SLMG Beverages currently operates seven plants in Uttar Pradesh, bottling over 4 crore bottles daily. The newly constructed plant in Trishundi will aid in meeting the demand for Coca-Cola products in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, it produces a unique small sparkling pack which uses 35 per cent less plastic.
Coca-Cola India has 13 bottling partners and 40 plants in the country. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) Ltd. produces over 50 per cent of Coca-Cola’s products in India.
