With Chirag Paswan, Minister of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), serving as the chief guest, BL Agro, a prominent name in India’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, made a significant beginning to World Food India 2024. This event included the grand inauguration of its pavilion. On the first day of the event, which took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, there was a positive response expressed by attendees. A highlight of the day was the introduction of Nourish Pulses, which is the most recent addition to the expanding variety of products offered by BL Agro. The company also presented a new television commercial that showcased the redesigned image of the ‘Nourish’ brand. The brand is now more committed to providing Indian households with products that are of high quality, nutritious, and hygienic. This serves to reinforce the company’s commitment to health and wellbeing.

BL Agro venturing into dairy product business
In an exclusive interview with FFOODSSpectrum, Khandelwal stated, “Company is venturing in the dairy products range and it has invested around 1000 crore in a plant that is located in Bareilly UP. The company will be breeding a specific breed of cattle (especially Gir Cow) for producing its dairy products.”
Event all set to allure foreign investment
A flagship event that is aimed at developing India’s food processing industry, World Food India 2024 is being organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), which is part of the Government of India of India.
To entice investments, to highlight innovations, and to make it easier for domestic and international companies to work together are the goals of this initiative. Through the course of the four-day event, industry experts, government officials, and business representatives will have the opportunity to investigate new opportunities and make contributions to India’s expanding role in the food scene across the world.
MoUs to be signed BL Agro during the event
On Day 2, the subsidiary of BL Agro, B.L. Kamdhenu Farms Limited, will sign a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s De Laval, which is situated in Sweden. A zero-waste economy and sustainable practices in cattle breeding and dairy technology will be promoted through this memorandum of understanding. These practices will include ingenious solutions such as embryo technology and cattle in vitro fertilisation.
On Day 3, Leads Connect Services Private Limited, the agritech branch of BL Agro, will sign a memorandum of understanding with Arya Capital, which is based in Poland. The purpose of this agreement is to improve India’s agricultural value chain by utilising cutting-edge technology and environmentally responsible methods. Dr. Arun Kumar, the Minister of State for Uttar Pradesh, will be present for the signing of the MoU, which will take place in the presence of the principal guest.
