Swiggy, one of India’s leading platforms for online food delivery and quick commerce, has appointed Kanika Tiwari as the Head of Monetisation for its quick commerce service, Swiggy Instamart. Renowned for her expertise in strategy, business development, and growth, Tiwari brings extensive experience from her successful career at Flipkart and other prestigious organisations.
Tiwari’s eight-year tenure at Flipkart began in December 2016 as a Management Trainee in Brand Ads Solutions. Over the years, she advanced through various roles, contributing significantly to the company’s growth. Most recently, she served as Director of Strategy and Growth for Flipkart Ads starting in September 2024, where she played a key role in scaling the platform’s advertising business.
In her new position at Swiggy Instamart, Tiwari will focus on developing monetisation strategies to strengthen the platform’s revenue streams as it continues to expand in India’s competitive quick commerce market. Her proven track record in strategy and growth is expected to reinforce Swiggy Instamart’s position as a market leader.
