Heritage Foods achieves strong Q3 FY25 performance with Rs10, 339 Mn revenue

The company’s milk procurement volumes increased significantly by 12.62 per cent year-on-year, rising to 1.84 million litres per day (MLPD)

Heritage Foods Limited has achieved an impressive 10 per cent year-on-year revenue growth, surpassing Rs 10,000 million in quarterly revenues for the third consecutive quarter, reaching Rs 10,339 million. As a leading dairy company specialising in milk and value-added dairy products, Heritage Foods has announced notable results for the December 31, 2024 quarter.

The company’s milk procurement volumes increased significantly by 12.62 per cent year-on-year, rising to 1.84 million litres daily (MLPD). Additionally, average procurement costs decreased by 2.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 41.91 per litre, although this is slightly higher than in the second quarter, by Rs 1.66 per litre. Meanwhile, milk sales volumes grew by 6.08 per cent year-on-year to 1.17 MLPD, though a small decline in the average selling price was observed, which fell to Rs 54.64 per litre due to a shift in the product mix.

The company’s value-added products (VAP) segment continued its strong performance, achieving a 17.6 per cent YoY revenue growth to Rs 2,874 million, contributing 28.2 per cent to the total revenue, up from 26.5 per cent in the same quarter last year. Including consumer packs of ghee and butter, the VAP segment recorded revenues of Rs 3,417 million, a growth of 19.5 per cent, now contributing 33.5% to the total revenue compared to 31 per cent last year. On the profitability front, Heritage Foods delivered an EBITDA of Rs 741 million, resulting in a 7.2 per cent margin. At the same time, net profit surged by an impressive 60 per cent YoY to Rs 431 million, reflecting a 4.2 per cent margin.

Regarding the results, Brahmani Nara, Executive Director of Heritage Foods, expressed her satisfaction, stating, “I am pleased to announce that Heritage Foods Limited has achieved Rs10,000 million+ revenue for the third consecutive quarter. Our revenue grew by 10 per cent YoY in Q3 FY25, reaching ₹10,339 million. Additionally, our net profit surged by 60 per cent YoY, reinforcing our strong financial standing and operational efficiency.” With robust growth in both its core and value-added segments, Heritage Foods continues to strengthen its position as a leader in the dairy industry.
