This CoE will be located near Suhana’s current facility in Sangareddy and aims to promote modern spice farming
Suhana Masala, a company specialising in spices, has partnered with the Ecofactory Foundation to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for spice production in Telangana.
This CoE will be located near Suhana’s current facility in Sangareddy and aims to promote modern spice farming by training and equipping farmers with the skills and resources needed to produce goods that meet global standards.
The announcement followed a meeting between Suhana Director Anand Chordia and Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
Together, these organisations plan to train 25,000 to 30,000 farmers over the next two to three years, providing them with the knowledge and techniques necessary to enhance spice quality and farming practices.
