Sanjaya Mariwala, President of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Executive Chairman & Managing Director of OmniActive Health Technologies, stated, “The Union Budget presented today showcases a clear vision for India’s economic future. The reforms in the income tax structure will allow citizens to retain more money, creating a cycle of spending and growth.
What is particularly encouraging is the emphasis on improvements in agriculture and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The Finance Minister has signaled a strong commitment to enhancing crop diversification, self-reliance, and agricultural productivity. Furthermore, the government’s initiative to streamline business processes and provide policy support to industries will boost job creation and enhance productivity.
In the healthcare sector, the addition of 10,000 seats and the establishment of daycare centers for cancer treatment in all districts highlight an increasing focus on accessible and high-quality medical care. Additionally, the introduction of skilling programs, including the establishment of National Centers of Excellence in AI education, will ensure our youth can compete effectively in the global economy.
These measures, rooted in the principles of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayaas, ensure inclusive progress while balancing economic growth with social upliftment. They align seamlessly with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, driving India towards sustained prosperity and global leadership.”
