India Plant Based Foods Show 2025 to spark innovation, sustainability and dialogue on plant-based food

Scheduled for March 4, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on the inaugural day of the 39th AAHAR

India is poised to take centre stage in the global shift toward plant-based foods, paving the way for innovation, sustainability, and well-being. Among the innovations led by startups and food tech leaders, the India Plant-Based Foods Show 2025, organised by the Plant-Based Foods Industry Association (PBFIA), will serve as a platform for changemakers driving transformation in the food industry. Scheduled for March 4, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on the inaugural day of the 39th AAHAR – The International Food & Hospitality Fair would remind the urgency to make a strong shift towards plant-based foods system. The Life Mission, introduced by the Prime Minister and advocated at COP26 aims for eco-friendly lifestyles to address environmental challenges and mobilise over a billion people globally by 2028 reinforcing India’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.

India Plant Based Foods Show 2025 is more than just an event—it is the launchpad for a revolution. Presented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Food Safety and Standards Authority of India(FSSAI), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and India Trade Promotion Organization(ITPO), this premier platform will shape the future of food, fostering new business opportunities and collaborations that will accelerate the plant-based movement.
