FSSAI opens first all-women Clean Street Food Hub in Kandivali, Mumbai

The hub is equipped with essential skills in hygiene, safety, and business operations

FSSAI recently inaugurated Mauli—India’s first all-women Clean Street Food Hub in Kandivali, Mumbai. Operated entirely by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of women, this initiative was formally inaugurated by Union Minister  Piyush Goyal.

The hub is fully operated by women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) who have undergone extensive training and certification. Equipped with essential skills in hygiene, safety, and business operations, these women are not only delivering high-quality street food but are also securing dignified livelihoods.
