School of Interdisciplinary Sciences & Technology, Department of Food Technology in Collaboration with School of Unani Medicine & Education Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi recently hosted the 9th international conference on Food Processing, Nutrition and Fortification with major emphasis on vitamin D at the University Convention centre.
The conference provided an interactive platform to the students from international universities and the invited speakers from USA, UAE, Europe and India who delivered their speeches, lectures and enlightened the students with their experiences. At the conference present were 400+ delegates which included the speakers, research-scholars and academicians.
The conference was presided by Prof. (Dr.) Sayed Ehtesham Hasnain, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University).
Siraj Hussain, IAS and Former Vice Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard and Hamid Ahmad, CEO Hamdard Laboratories were also the part of the conference along with other speakers like Prof. Ravinder Singh, presently Professor at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA; Prof. Sunil Wimalawansa Professor Cardio, Metabolic and Endocrine Institute, New Jersey, USA; Dr. Naveen K. Rastogi presently Chief Scientist and Head of the Department of Food Engineering at CFTRI, Mysore, India; Prof. Afrozul Haq, Dean of School of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Jamia Hamdard.
