Ireland-based Glanbia Nutritionals has partnered with Ixoreal Biomed Inc. (having operations in US & India) to optimize its KSM-66® Ashwagandha, highly concentrated root extract with NutraShield™ Technology, to provide functional and application dosage improvements.
KSM-66 Ashwagandha is a branded extract from Ixoreal Biomed Inc., and it has the highest concentration of all major root-only extracts available on the market today. It is produced using a unique proprietary extraction process that is based on “Green Chemistry” principles and does not use alcohol or any other chemical solvent.
By optimizing KSM-66 Ashwagandha with its NutraShield Technology, Glanbia Nutritionals has utilized the powder extract as a carrier of their flavor masker during an encapsulation process. This provides additional support and protection when including in a formulation that contains other vitamins and minerals with off notes, and it allows for a higher ashwagandha inclusion rate in products to better meet efficacy dose requirements.
