Azelis and Tereos extend partnership to food & nutrition market in Benelux

To assist consumers with a vision of innovation through formulation

Azelis, a global innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has announced a new distribution agreement with French firm Tereos. Effective immediately, this new mandate allows Azelis to strengthen its portfolio with native starches, sugars and sweeteners in the food & animal nutrition markets in the Benelux (covering western Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg).

This mandate is an expansion of the long-standing partnership between Tereos and Azelis. Tereos offers a wide range of solutions, including dextrose monohydrate, native starches, maltodextrin, gluten, dietary fibers and more. Azelis’ Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare market segment was already covering the distribution of Tereos’ portfolio. This agreement is now extended to their whole range of food and feed product lines.

Remco Schelvis, Business Manager Food & Nutrition Benelux at Azelis, commented, “By adding sugars, sweeteners and starches we both fill a gap in our portfolio and strengthen our current value proposition to our customers by offering the total package.”
