The Union Budget 2025 has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the MSME sector, with enhanced classification limits, increased financial accessibility, and targeted support for startups. These measures are expected to empower healthcare MSMEs, drive innovation, and boost India’s global presence in the sector.

Commenting on the budget’s impact, Karan Khurana, Founder & CEO of WishNew Wellness, stated:”The Budget 2025 reaffirms the government’s commitment to strengthening the MSME sector, the backbone of India’s economic growth. The enhanced classification limits and focus on financial accessibility, including customized credit cards for micro-enterprises, will empower healthcare MSMEs to scale operations, invest in innovation, and expand their reach. As MSMEs contribute 45% of exports, these measures will help Indian healthcare solutions gain a stronger global foothold.”

Khurrana further emphasised, “The establishment of a Fund of Funds for startups underscores a robust commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and technological advancement. These measures not only empower us to expand our services but also reinforce our dedication to improving healthcare outcomes across the nation. The enhanced MSME classification limit will further accelerate growth in this critical sector.”
