Nestlé India reports Rs 4,762 Cr sales in Q3
Nestlé India is significantly enhancing its manufacturing capabilities with the inauguration of its third confectionery unit at the Sanand factory in Gujrat, which will focus on producing KITKAT. This expansion is part of the company’s ambitious capital expenditure plan of Rs 5,800 crore set for the period between 2020 and 2025.
Additionally, Nestlé is making a substantial entry into the super-premium coffee segment with NESPRESSO. The official NESPRESSO website has launched and has garnered a positive response from Indian consumers. The first NESPRESSO boutique is slated to open in Delhi, with plans for further expansion into other major cities.
For the third quarter of FY 2024-25, Nestlé India reported total sales of Rs 4,762.1 crore, marking a 3.9 per cent growth, with domestic sales growing by 3.3 per cent. Profit from operations stood at 20.3 per cent of sales, while net profit reached Rs 696.1 crore. The earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter was Rs 7.22.
