Heritage Foods inaugurates new Ice Cream Manufacturing Facility at Shamirpet, Telangana

Strategic expansion to strengthen presence in the fast-growing ice cream segment

Heritage Foods Limited has inaugurated a new greenfield ice cream manufacturing facility at Shamirpet as part of its strategy to expand its value-added dairy portfolio and tap the growing demand for premium ice cream products.

The state-of-the-art plant is equipped with automated production systems and advanced quality control infrastructure to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency. The facility has an installed production capacity of approximately 24 million litres per annum, with provisions to scale capacity in line with future demand.

Currently generating around Rs 100 crore in annual revenue from its ice cream business, the company expects the new facility to significantly boost growth and enable the segment to expand up to five times its current scale over the next seven to eight years.

The Shamirpet facility will also strengthen the company’s manufacturing footprint, support product innovation, and enhance distribution capabilities across South and Western India, positioning Heritage Foods to capitalise on rising consumer demand for premium and packaged dairy products.
