Globally acclaimed, German safety and quality expert, TUV SUD, received accreditation from Export Inspection Council (EIC) for their testing lab in Vizag. The state of the art seafood testing lab was also one of the first in India to be accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) of USA. The laboratory is aligned to the needs of the EIC/EIA for inspection and certification of the products for export, as per importing countries’ requirements. The lab will provide certification for IFS, BRC, HACCP, ISO 22005 and ISO 22000. Some of the globally recognised seafood inspection services at the lab will include, during production (DUPRO) inspection, initial production check (IPC), final random inspection (FRI), hygiene inspection, post shipment inspection, packaging container and storage checks.
