Create awareness about the serious impact of a sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy diet on the health of the people

The Vice President, M. Venkaiah Naidu has called upon doctors to be pro-active in educating people, particularly the youth about the dangers of sedentary lifestyles and unhealthy food habits in view of the rise in non-communicable diseases.

Interacting with a delegation of Delhi Medical Association on the occasion of Doctors Day, in New Delhi, Naidu reminded them of the reverent manner in which doctors are treated by the people and urged the medical fraternity to serve people with empathy and compassion.
