India, Nepal sign MoU for food safety and standards

At the 5th Meeting of India- Nepal Joint Commission in Kathmandu

During the 5th Meeting of India- Nepal Joint Commission in Kathmandu, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and Department of Food Technology and Quality Control of Nepal on food safety and standards.

External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar and his Nepalese counterpart Pradeep Kumar Gyawali co-chaired the meeting.
